Hey there! I'm Jarley, the founder and primary adventurer of On Our Lines. I've been a life-long rail enthusiast, and you might recognise me from Secrets of the London Underground, where I joined Tim Dunn and Siddy Holloway in both series to explore more about London Underground's signal cabins. It is perhaps no surprise therefore that I work in the rail industry for London Underground as a relief Instructor signaller on the Metropolitan line, including Harrow-on-the-Hill and Amersham signal cabins.

Away from work, I volunteer as a tram conductor at Crich Tramway Village and can often be found checking in on Mark Wallinger's Labyrinths, a 2013 art project created by Art on the Underground. Indeed, I was privileged to feature as part of an Art on the Underground project between October 2018 and March 2021 - Linder Sterling's The Bower of Bliss at Southwark Tube station. In late 2020 I set up The Progress Train off the back of the naming campaign for Avanti West Coast's class 390 Pendolino 390119 Progress, which focusses on greater LGBTQ+ diversity and inclusivity across the transport sector.
