London's Transport Race |
IntroductionLondon's Transport Race is a transport event with a difference. A few times a year, we run a race around London - but with absolutely no running allowed! Teams of two or three compete to visit six stations (one in each of Travelcard Zones 1-6) and a London landmark in the fastest time over the course of a day - and there's additional optional challenges too to rack up plenty of bonus points! The challenges start and finish at Central London locations, and usually last between six and eight hours depending on the routes chosen. You can sign up as a team or as an individual; we'll pair you up with others at the start of the day to create fun and balanced teams to keep the event accessible and inclusive to all! Please note: we require written parental consent for any under 18s considering taking part in the Race; additionally, we unfortunately cannot permit anyone under the age of 16 to take part without the attendance of their parent or guardian. This event is not suitable for young children. You must have a valid Travelcard, Oyster card or Contactless card to take part in the Race, and must tap in and out correctly throughout the Race in line with the relevant operator's Conditions of Carriage/Travel.
