23 metres below the River Thames!

Description

This is Marc Brunel's Thames Tunnel, the first tunnel underneath a navigable river in the world. Today, it is used by London Overground trains on the East London Line route, with people given the opportunity to walk the tunnel during November 2023 as part of a London Transport Museum Hidden London event.
