January

Jarley shares our first image of 2024, taken from Harrow-on-the-Hill signal cabin. The Metropolitan line Rail Adhesion Train departs Harrow for the north end of the line, whilst an engineers' training train, formed of two battery locomotives, waits time in Harrow siding.

February

Our Picture of the Month for February comes from Discord user @sb_trains, depicting the famous Dawlish. Nestled right on the south west coast, Dawlish is a well-known location for rail enthusiasts to visit, and is perfect to get us in the mood for Spring - just around the corner.

It's sunset over the Great Eastern Mainline for March, with this moody photograph from dlpb. A Greater Anglia class 720 can be seen speeding past into the distance.

From the international travels of @lcawte comes an image of a shiny SKODA 16EV in yellow and grey Vivi (Pasažieru vilciens) livery crossing Daugava River on "Railway Bridge" towards Rīga-Pasažieru station.

@madmetroguy brings our picture for July with a Five Car Train - class 710 375 - arriving into Euston.

August

With the summer in full swing @zootfish captured the early evening approach of a Stadler FLIRT to Heerlen Station in the Netherlands running as Arriva RE18 from Liège-Guillemins, Belgium to Aachen, Germany.

As autumn approaches, @elaenas brings us this photo of "the flat part of the very pretty Oberweißbacher Bergbahn".

October

The scene, from @the801azuma is set for autumn with a scene that could be 20th Century Newcastle or 21st Century Derbyshire. Newcastle 102, recently returned to service at Crich Tramway Village, waits to returning to return to the Car Sheds as fog descends.
