The National Railway Museum (NRM) is located by York, around 190 miles from London. The National Rail Museum is home to rolling stock from all era's of the British Rail network as well as limited items from other countries. The National Railway Museum was opened in 1975, as part of the 50 celebrations a LNER class 91 Electra was named "The National Railway Musuem 1975-2025" and was displayed at the The Greatest Gathering and Northern's Heaton Depot 150 open day in september.
