This is [[Marc Brunel]]'s [[Thames Tunnel]], the first tunnel underneath a navigable river in the world. Today, it is used by [[London Overground]] trains on the [[East London Line]] route, with people given the opportunity to walk the tunnel during November 2023 as part of a [[London Transport Museum]] [[Hidden London]] event.
