1. Overview and Purpose

By entering any On Our Lines Challenge, including but not limited to ‘Stations of the Month’, ‘Picture of the Month’, ‘Systems of the Year’, ‘Action Stations!’, and any other challenges designated from time to time (collectively “Challenges”), entrants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The Challenges are organised by On Our Lines, a trading name of The Luxton Electric Traction Company Limited (“Organiser”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Eligibility

a. The Challenges are open to individuals of any age unless otherwise stated.
b. Participants under the age of 18 confirm they have obtained permission from a parent or guardian, who has read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and consents to the entry. Proof of age, identity, or parental consent may be required.
c. Employees, contributors, or immediate family members of the Organiser may enter unless otherwise specified for a particular Challenge.

3. How to Enter

a. Entries must be submitted in accordance with the instructions provided for each individual Challenge.
b. No purchase is necessary to enter or participate.

4. Entry Requirements

a. All entries must relate to the theme of the relevant Challenge.
b. Entries must not contain content that is offensive, unlawful, defamatory, misleading or otherwise inappropriate.
c. Where an entry includes identifiable individuals, the entrant confirms that all necessary permissions and consents have been obtained for submission and use of the content.

5. Termination

a. Entries must be the original work of the entrant.
b. Entrants retain ownership of their original work.
c. By submitting an entry, entrants grant the Organiser an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, adapt, edit, and archive the entry.
d. This licence applies to all media formats, including but not limited to websites, social media, print, video, and promotional materials, in perpetuity.
e. Entries will not be sold, licenced, or otherwise exploited for separate commercial gain, nor provided to third parties for commercial use. However, the Organiser may reproduce, publish, and display entries, in whole or in part, within its in-house publications, including publications which may be sold for a fee. Such use shall be for editorial and promotional purposes connected to those publications only and shall not constitute separate commercial exploitation of the entries.

6. Judging, Disqualification & Correspondence

a. All entries will be reviewed and judged by the Organiser. All decisions relating to judging, selection, and outcomes are final and binding.
b. The Organiser reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any entry or entrant at any time, including (but not limited to) entries that do not comply with these Terms & Conditions or that are deemed inappropriate, offensive, or unsuitable.
c. The Organiser is under no obligation to provide feedback or explanations and will not enter into correspondence regarding judging decisions, selections, or disqualifications.

7. Credits

a. Where reasonably practicable, the Organiser will credit entrants when publishing entries.
b. Failure to credit an entrant does not affect the licence granted under these Terms & Conditions.

8. Changes & Cancellation

a. The Organiser reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel any Challenge or these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Where reasonably possible, changes will take effect from the following month’s Challenges.
b. For the avoidance of doubt, these Terms & Conditions do not apply retrospectively to Challenges commenced prior to their implementation date.
