The Four Lines Modernisation is a resigmalling project for the District Line, Hammersmith & City Line, Circle Line and Metropolitain Line. It is being done in phases known as SMA ( Signal Mitgation Areas) which are numbered 0.5-14.
SMA 0.5
SMA 0.5 was Hammersmith to Latimer Road on the Hammersmith & City Line and Circle Line.
SMA 1
SMA 1 was Latimer Road to London Paddington
SMA 2
SMA 2 was London Paddington to Finchley Road and Euston Square. Edgware Road signal cabin fell silent under this phase.
