Winnersh Triangle was opened by British Rail costing just £375,000 to build. The station was built to be lightweight as not to heavily stress the Embankment.[1] Winnersh Triangle Station

Services are normally provided by South Western Railway on a half hourly frequency between Reading and London Waterloo.
