London Underground rolling stock

London Underground current operates eight different types of rolling stock in passenger service across its eleven Tube lines, with a further type of stock due to be introduced towards the end of 2025. In addition, it operates several different types of stock as part of its engineering fleet and Heritage Fleet.

^  In theory the 1938 stock can physically operate on all lines except the Waterloo & City line, however signalling upgrades - and the lack of in-cab signalling on the 1938 stock - practically restrict it to the Bakerloo, Piccadilly and parts of the District and Metropolitan lines.
