Welcome to Birmingham New Street. This is our wonderful box. This box was built in the 60s and it's unique to the railway.
We control trains from Birmingham International in the West, to Tipton in the East and a little bit of the cross City route as well.
It's a busy box 24/7 and not for the faint hearted.
